<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><strong><span style="font-family: Arial;">Ναυσικά, πως έμαθες εσύ για το </span></strong><strong><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US">Mamma</span></strong><strong><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US"> </span></strong><strong><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US">Mia</span></strong><strong><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US"> </span></strong><strong><span style="font-family: Arial;">και τα γυρίσματα στη Σκόπελο ?</span></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Είχαμε δει ότι θα γυριστεί στη Σκόπελο μια ταινία, το </span><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US">Mamma</span><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US"> </span><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US">Mia</span><span style="font-family: Arial;"> ,είχε βγει μια ανακοίνωση στο Δήμο ότι ζητάνε κομπάρσους από τα χωριά Γλώσσα , Έλιος και από τη χώρα της Σκοπέλου. Η αρχική ανακοίνωση ήταν στο Δήμο, ο οποίος με τη σειρά του την κοινοποίησε στις κοινότητες. Μέσω της κοινότητας το έμαθα εγώ και<span> </span>κάποιες φίλες μου.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><strong><span style="font-family: Arial;">Πως έγινε η επιλογή των κομπάρσων από την πλευρά των παραγωγών ?</span></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Μια εβδομάδα πριν γίνουν τα γυρίσματα , πραγματοποιήθηκε η προεπιλογή ,που δεν ήταν τίποτε άλλο από φωτογραφήσεις. Πήγαινε όποιος ήθελε να συμμετάσχει , έτσι πήγαμε και εμείς να φωτογραφηθούμε.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Είχαν γίνει κάποια πρώτα γυρίσματα στο Λονδίνο ,πριν έρθουν στη Σκόπελο. Οπότε όταν ήρθαν στο νησί, οι φωτογράφοι προσπάθησαν με βάση τις ηλικίες αλλά και τα πρόσωπα των κομπάρσων ,που είχαν πάρει μέρος στα πρώτα γυρίσματα ,να διαλέξουν άτομα που έμοιαζαν με αυτούς. Κοίταζαν το ύψος ,τα μαλλιά ,το χρώμα<span> </span>και κατέληξαν στο τέλος σε ένα αριθμό κομπάρσων από τη Γλώσσα ,το Έλιος και τη Σκόπελο .Βέβαια είχαν έρθει και διάφοροι κομπάρσοι αλλά και χορευτές <span> </span>και από το Βόλο, την Αθήνα και το Λονδίνο.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Αυτοί που τελικά μας επιλέξανε ήταν μια ομάδα ελλήνων φωτογράφων που είχαν σπουδάσει σκηνοθεσία στην Αμερική. Εννοείται πως όλοι αυτοί ερχόντουσαν σε συνεννόηση με τους ξένους συναδέλφους τους.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><strong><span style="font-family: Arial;">Σε ποια σκηνή ταινίας λαμβάνετε μέρος και που γυρίστηκε αυτή? Υπάρχει περίπτωση να σε αναγνωρίσουμε στην οθόνη?</span></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Οι περισσότεροι κομπάρσοι ουσιαστικά χρειαζόντουσαν ως καλεσμένοι για τη σκηνή του γάμου πάνω στο Αι Γιάννη .Κάποιοι άλλοι , όπως εγώ είμαστε δίπλα στη νύφη στα σκαλιά της εκκλησίας ως παράνυφοι. Τώρα αν θα φανούμε ή όχι ,δε ξέρω ,έχω μεγάλη αγωνία και σύντομα θα ξέρω!</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Στο σημείο που γυριζόταν η ταινία μας έλεγαν που θα στηθούμε ,πως θα κινηθούμε ,μας έδιναν γενικές κατευθύνσεις. Εμείς δε χορεύαμε φυσικά ,υπήρχαν επαγγελματίες<span> </span>χορευτές . Πρέπει να σας πω πάντως ότι οι κομπάρσοι ξεπερνούσαν τα 100-150 άτομα<span> </span>και στην πλειοψηφία τους ήταν Σκοπελίτες!</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><strong><span style="font-family: Arial;">Για πες μου και λίγα λόγια για την προετοιμασία και τι ρούχα που φορέσατε?</span></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Εμείς ως παράνυφοι φορούσαμε ροζ ακριβές, όμορφες τουαλέτες .Οι σταρ και οι μεγάλοι ηθοποιοί<span> </span>της ταινίας ντυνόντουσαν σε ειδικά τροχόσπιτα, αρκετά απομακρυσμένα από τον πολύ κόσμο. Για όλους εμάς τους κομπάρσους<span> </span>υπήρξε ένας ειδικά διαμορφωμένος χώρος στη Γλώσσα Σκοπέλου ,κάθε πρωί ερχόταν πούλμαν που μετέφερε τους κομπάρσους από όλα τα χωριά, και στη συνέχεια μας έντυναν, μας έφτιαχναν τα μαλλιά και μας μακιγιάρανε. Η όλη διαδικασία ξεκινούσε στις 6 το πρωί και στις 8 είμαστε έτοιμοι για να αρχίσουν τα γυρίσματα.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Τα γυρίσματα ,στα οποία συμμετείχα (στη σκηνή του Γάμου στον Αι Γιάννη) αρχικά προγραμματιζόντουσαν να διαρκέσουν 3 μέρες αλλά λόγω καιρού έγιναν σε 2 μόλις μέρες.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><strong><span style="font-family: Arial;">Ήρθατε σε επικοινωνία με τους σταρ της ταινίας και πως σας φάνηκαν αυτοί από κοντά?</span></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Φυσικά και ήρθαμε σε επαφή με τους ηθοποιούς ,δεν υπήρχε περίπτωση να τους έχουμε τόσο κοντά και να μη τους προσεγγίσουμε! Όχι απλά τους μιλήσαμε ,αλλά ένα βράδυ έγινε και ένα πάρτι στο οποίο αρχίσαμε να τους μαθαίνουμε ελληνικούς χορούς ,παραδοσιακά ,ξέρεις, νησιώτικα..Ήταν πολύ φιλικοί και απλοί , τόσο η Μέριλ<span> </span>(Στριπ) όσο και ο Πηρς (Μπρόσναν) .Το μεσημέρι τρώγαμε όλοι μαζί και οι σταρ καθόντουσαν μαζί μας και κουβεντιάζαμε λιγάκι. Υπήρχε </span><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US">catering</span><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US"> </span><span style="font-family: Arial;">για όλους ,μιας και εκτός των άλλων εκεί κοντά δεν υπάρχει κάποια ταβέρνα.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Οι διάσημοι ηθοποιοί μετά το τέλος των γυρισμάτων ,κατά τις 5 το απόγευμα, έφευγαν και πήγαιναν στα κότερα ,τα οποία τους φιλοξενούσαν. Τα βράδια πολύ συχνά παρευρίσκονταν σε δείπνα προς τιμήν τους και σε πάρτι. Πάντως ήταν πολύ απλοί, ο Πηρς –που παρεμπιπτόντως είναι και κούκλος από κοντά (…χαμόγελο)- είχε φέρει μαζί του και την οικογένεια του.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Η παραγωγός μας ,αυτή που μας έδινε το σήμα « 3-2-1 πάμε» , ήταν η γυναίκα του </span><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US">Tom</span><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US"> </span><span style="font-family: Arial;">Η</span><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US">anks</span><span style="font-family: Arial;">.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><strong><span style="font-family: Arial;">Για τη συμμετοχή σας πληρωθήκατε από την παραγωγή ?</span></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Ναι βέβαια! Πληρωθήκαμε μια χαρά και ακόμα και για την ημέρα στην οποία δεν έγιναν γυρίσματα. Νομίζω ότι για 3 μέρες πήρε ο καθένας από μας περίπου 260 Ευρώ.<span> </span>Το αστείο της υπόθεσης είναι ότι πληρώθηκε και ένας γάιδαρος για τη συμμετοχή του ,ο ιδιοκτήτης του δηλαδή (γέλια…)!</span></p>

 Λίγες ώρες μόνο κάναμε από τη βόρεια πλευρά της Ίκου ως την πόλη Σκόπελο που βρίσκεται στη ΒΑ πλευρά του νησιού .Σε αυτό το διάστημα φύσηξε δυνατός, αντίθετος άνεμος και με δυσκολία μπήκαμε στο λιμάνι και αποβιβαστήκαμε .Με ζωντάνια και χαρά μας δέχτηκαν στην πυκνοκατοικημένη και νοικοκυρεμένη πόλη .Δυσκολευτήκαμε ανάμεσα στην κοσμοσυρροή [...]]]></description>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><em><span style="font-family: Arial;">Οι κάτοικοι της Σκοπέλου (Σκοπελίτες ,Σκοπελιανοί )έχουν ωραία κατατομή και είναι γέροι και καλοζωισμένοι .Όμως η<span> </span>θωριά των γυναικών είναι πολύ άτονη ,επειδή αυτές σαν<span> </span>τις γυναίκες της Πάτμου<span> </span>φασκιώνουν τα στήθη τους περνώντας ένα ζωνάρι σύρριζα στις μασχάλες<span> </span>,ώστε το γυναικείο σώμα να φαίνεται σαν κολώνα ,από όπου ξεπετιούνται τα χέρια και το κεφάλι .Πιο όμορφα στολίζουν το κεφάλι ,ρίχνοντας ένα ανοιχτόχρωμο μαντήλι, που αφήνει τα μαύρα μαλλιά να φαίνονται και τα μαύρα μάτια να κοιτάζουν πολύ ζωηρά .</span></em></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><em><span style="font-family: Arial;">Το πρωί της 20<sup>ης</sup> Σεπτεμβρίου ο βασιλιάς μετά τη λειτουργία έκανε έναν περίπατο στον κάμπο με τα αμπέλια ,τις ελιές και τα άλλα οπωροφόρα δένδρα .Πάνω από τον κάμπο βρίσκεται ένα ωραίο μοναστήρι …Απέναντι από την πόλη το 1823 ,όταν άνοιξαν χαρακώματα για να αποκρούσουν απειλούμενη απόβαση ,βρήκαν πολλούς τάφους.</span></em></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><em><span style="font-family: Arial;">Η Γλώσσα<span> </span>έχει 200-300 σπίτια στο βορειοδυτικό άκρο της βουνοσειράς που διασχίζει το νησί .Η Σκόπελος έχει 6000 κατοίκους , ενώ η Γλώσσα 2000 .Το κυριότερο προϊόν είναι το κρασί και το λάδι και μερικά εκατομμύρια λεμόνια ,που οι Σκοπελίτες με περισσότερα από 30 δικά τους καράβια (βρίκια και γολέττες )εξάγουν στην Κωνσταντινούπολη και στη Μαύρη Θάλασσα.Το κρασί είναι ένα ελαφρύ και καλόγευστο κοκκινέλι που το πίνουν αρετσίνωτο .Μόνο που έχει πέσει η τιμή του επειδή αυξάνονται κάθε χρόνο τα αμπέλια της Θράκης και της νοτίου Ρωσίας .</span></em></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><em><span style="font-family: Arial;">… Επειδή αποφασιστικοί ιστορικοί λόγοι ,όπως είδαμε ,δείχνουν ότι η σημερινή Σκόπελος είναι η αρχαία <span> </span>Πεπάρηθος ,από το Θουκυδίδη ως το Σκύλακα και ως τον ίδιο τον Πτολεμαίο ,έτσι ακολουθεί με αναγκαιότητα ότι τη Σκόπελο του πρέπει να την αναζητήσουμε ανάμεσα στα υπόλοιπα νησιά .Η φύση του ονόματος ,το οποίο δε σημαίνει τίποτε άλλο από βράχο ,επιτρέπει να το δίνουμε πότε στο ένα και πότε στο άλλο νησί …</span></em></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><em><span style="font-family: Arial;">Το όνομα του νησιού παρουσιάζεται για πρώτη φορά τον 4<sup>ο</sup> αιώνα π.Χ. Ήταν ένα ασήμαντο νησί που το κατείχαν πειρατές .Για τη θέση του δεν υπάρχει τίποτα συγκεκριμένο .Από τα συμφραζόμενα σχηματίζει κανείς τη γνώμη ότι πρέπει να αναζητηθεί στα <span style="text-decoration: underline;">θρακικά (?) </span>ακρογιάλια.</span></em></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><em><span style="font-family: Arial;">…Ο Πομπώνιος Μελάς την τοποθετεί δίπλα στη Θάσο ,Ίμβρο ,Σαμοθράκη, Σκιάθο και Λήμνο .Σε αυτές τις αόριστες πληροφορίες πίστεψαν ότι μπορούσαν να τοποθετήσουν και την Αλόννησο ανάμεσα στις Β.Σποράδες …Φαίνεται ότι η Αλόννησος ήταν ανάμεσα στη Χερσόνησο και στη Σαμοθράκη δεκαπέντε ρωμαϊκά στάδια μακριά από τη κάθε μία.</span></em></p>

O L.Ross είναι ο πρώτος καθηγητής της Αρχαιολογίας στο Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών (1837)  . Όπως και άλλοι Βαυαροί επιστήμονες ακολούθησε τον Όθωνα στην Ελλάδα ,όπου έγραψε πλήθος επιστημονικών εργασιών πάνω σε θέματα που εμπνεύσθηκε από τη χώρα μας. Όπως και άλλοι Βαυαροί επιστήμονες ακολούθησε τον Όθωνα στην Ελλάδα ,όπου έγραψε πλήθος επιστημονικών εργασιών πάνω σε θέματα που εμπνεύσθηκε από τη χώρα μας. Ένα από τα πιο ενδιαφέροντα έργα του είναι τα «Βασιλικά ταξίδια στην Εύβοια και στις Β.Σποράδες» ,όπου με μεγάλη παρατηρητικότητα και σαφήνεια περιγράφει όσα μέρη επισκέφθηκε με τον Έλληνα βασιλιά <span> </span>Όθωνα το 1841.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Μπορούμε να πούμε ότι ο </span><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US">Ross</span><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US"> </span><span style="font-family: Arial;">είναι ο πρώτος ταξιδιώτης στις Β.Σποράδες που μας δίνει μια πλήρη και λεπτομερή περιγραφή όλων των νησιών, για αυτό το έργο του, αν και σχετικά όψιμο αποτελεί ορόσημο στην ιστορία των περιηγήσεων στις Β.Σποράδες<span> </span>.Μετά το </span><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US">Ross</span><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US"> </span><span style="font-family: Arial;">πέρασαν από τα νησιά άνθρωποι με επιστημονική περιέργεια ,ενδιαφέρθηκαν για τα μνημεία τους και έγραψαν σοβαρές μελέτες .Σημαντικές πληροφορίες μας δίνει ο Γερμανός επιστήμονας και για τα ερημόνησα ,κυρίως για το Πιπέρι .Στο χάρτη του όλα τα νησιά φέρουν για πρώτη φορά τις σημερινές ονομασίες .</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><em><span style="font-family: Arial;">«Η γεωγραφία των Βόρειων Σποράδων βρισκόταν μέχρι τώρα υπό αμφισβήτηση .Στο χάρτη μας είναι τυπωμένα ανάμεσα στην Εύβοια και στη Σκύρο νησάκια που δεν τα συναντάμε στην πραγματικότητα ,ενώ λείπουν άλλα μεγαλύτερα που τα περιβάλλουν .Σε αυτό προστίθεται η σύγχυση των αρχαίων με τα νέα ονόματα .Γιατί από τη μία πλευρά τα αρχαία έφτασαν μέχρι εμάς μισά και έτσι παρουσιάζονται δύο με το ίδιο όνομα ή ένα με δύο ονόματα .Εξάλλου η φαινομενική ομοιότητα δύο λέξεων ,μιας αρχαίας και μιας νέας ,όπως Πεπάρηθος και Πιπέρι ,έχει προξενήσει παρανοήσεις .Θα<span> </span>προσπαθήσουμε να αποσαφηνίσουμε αυτό το μπέρδεμα και να δώσουμε το σωστό όνομα τουλάχιστον στα μεγάλα νησιά .Μπορούμε να ξεκινήσουμε από τη Σκύρο ,την πιο νότια και μεγαλύτερη και από τη Σκιάθο ,τη δυτικότερη κοντά στη θεσσαλική παραλία ,σαν από σημεία σταθερά δοσμένα ,γιατί και οι δύο έχουν τα αρχαία τους ονόματα απαράλλαχτα μέχρι σήμερα .</span></em></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><strong><em><span style="font-family: Arial;">Πιπέρι</span></em></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><em><span style="font-family: Arial;">Κυριακή 19 Σεπτεμβρίου κατά τα ξημερώματα είμαστε κάτω από τη δυτική πλευρά του απότομου βράχου Πιπέρι .Τον είπαν έτσι από τη μορφή του .Για τον ίδιο λόγο λένε Πιπέρι και ένα νησί μεταξύ<span> </span>της Κύθνου και της Σερίφου .Δεν είναι το Πιπέρι η Πεπάρηθος –το μεγάλο νησί που στην αρχαιότητα είχε τρεις πόλεις –επειδή απλώς συγγενεύουν τα ονόματα τους .Το Πιπέρι είναι αρκετά ψηλό με σχεδόν κατακόρυφες πλευρές και κατά το μεγαλύτερο μέρος του είναι γεμάτο πεύκα, όπως όλα γενικά τα υψώματα των Σποράδων και της Β.Εύβοιας ,τα οποία αναγγέλλουν την αντίθεση ψυχρού και υγρού κλίματος απέναντι στις ηλιόλουστες και κατά ένα μέρος γυμνές Κυκλάδες .</span></em></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><em><span style="font-family: Arial;">Η θάλασσα ήταν έρημη και ήταν ευκαιρία να βγούμε από το νησί .Ο βασιλιάς αποφάσισε να αποβιβασθούμε .Στην κορυφή του ανάμεσα στα πεύκα βρίσκεται ένα απόκοσμο μοναστήρι .Μοναδικός κατοίκους έχει το νησί τους καλόγερους .Με μια κανονιά το πλοίο κάλεσε έναν από αυτούς να μας δείξει το κατάλληλο μέρος για αποβίβαση .Αυτός έδειξε στις βάρκες που μπορούσαν να πλευρίσουν και ύστερα από πορεία μιας ώρας μέσα στα πουρνάρια του νησιού βρεθήκαμε στην κορυφή του βράχου .Κατά το ανέβασμα είχαμε την ευκαιρία να βγάλουμε διδακτικά συμπεράσματα για την ιδιαίτερη επιμονή σε προκαταλήψεις .</span></em></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><em><span style="font-family: Arial;">Πριν από μήνες μερικές βάρκες κουρσάρων είχαν διαταράξει την ασφάλεια σε τούτα τα μέρη και για το λόγο αυτό στάλθηκαν πολεμικά πλοία μαζί με το ατμόπλοιο «Όθων» για να τους καταδιώξουν<span> </span>.Στο μυαλό ενός από τους Γερμανούς αξιωματικούς μπήκε η ιδέα ότι το μοναστήρι του Πιπεριού ήταν ένα από τα κρησφύγετα τους και ότι οι καλόγεροι ήταν οι τροφοδότες τους .Του κάκου προσπάθησαν να τον πείσουν ότι σε αυτό το βράχο μόνο με τέλεια απανεμιά μπορούσε να βγει κανείς και δεν υπήρχε ούτε ένας μικρός όρμος για να προφυλάξει και το πιο μικρό πλεούμενο .Οι καλόγεροι δεν έχουν<span> </span>στην κατοχή τους ούτε μια ψαρόβαρκα και μήνες ολόκληρους είναι αποκλεισμένοι από τον υπόλοιπο κόσμο .Δεν φαίνεται λοιπόν να υπάρχει ένδειξη σχέσης των καλόγερων με τους πειρατές .</span></em></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><em><span style="font-family: Arial;">…Η ψηλότερη κορυφή του Πιπεριού είναι ίσως το κατάλληλο σημείο για να εποπτεύσει κανείς το βόρειο αρχιπέλαγος .Ο ορίζοντας δεν ήταν καθαρός προς τα βόρεια και ΒΔ .Τον θεσσαλικό Όλυμπο και τον μακεδονικό Άθωνα τους αναγνωρίσαμε μόνο από τους όγκους στα σύννεφα ,προάγγελοι του βοριά που κατέβαινε .Και από τα τουρκικά νησιά προς τα<span> </span>ΒΔ βλέπαμε μόνο τον Αι Στράτη .Όμως είδαμε από εδώ καθαρά τα νησιά προς τα ΝΔ, την εντελώς επίπεδη <span style="text-decoration: underline;">ψαθουρα (?) </span>και δυτικά τα βραχώδη και κατά το πλείστον γυμνά με λωρίδες πευκοδάσους Γιούρα ,δυτικά την Κυρά-Παναγιά ,ανατολικά κοντά στην Κυρά-Παναγιά το <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Πρασονήσι </span><span> </span>και δυτικά αυτής το Περιστερονήσι και το μεγάλο νησί Χιλιοδρόμι και δίπλα του το Ξερονήσι .</span></em></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><em><span style="font-family: Arial;">Αυτά είναι τα πιο ονομαστά από τα ακατοίκητα νησιά ,εκτός από τη Σκόπελο και τη Σκιάθο . Ενώ κατεβαίναμε ο βασιλιάς επισκέφθηκε το παλιό ,φτωχό<span> </span>μοναστήρι ,κατοικημένο από τέσσερις καλόγερους .Είναι κάτω από τα δένδρα σε ένα πλάτωμα ,κάτω από το λόφο .Οι ερημίτες περιποιήθηκαν το βασιλιά με ψωμί ,τυρί ,μέλι ,φρούτα που παράγουν μόνοι τους σε αυτό το βράχο και κρασί από τη Σκόπελο .Ο ηλικιωμένος τυφλός ηγούμενος τον ξεπροβόδισε με τα λόγια του : «Να ζήσεις παιδάκι μου ,η χάρη της Παναγιάς να είναι μαζί σου» .Τόσο απλά ήταν τα ήθη αυτών των θεωρούμενων πειρατών .</span></em></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><em><span style="font-family: Arial;">Περάσαμε από τη νότια μύτη των Γιούρων ,που έχουν κατοίκους μόνο έναν καλόγερο και ένα τσοπάνη με την οικογένεια του.</span></em></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><strong><em><span style="font-family: Arial;">Κυρά-Παναγιά </span></em></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><em><span style="font-family: Arial;"><span> </span>Αριστερά μας αφήνουμε την Κυρά-Παναγιά ,που είναι αρκετά μεγάλη και καταπράσινη με δυνατότητα κατοίκησης .Βρισκόμαστε στη βόρεια πλευρά του νησιού Χιλιοδρόμια .Εδώ στάθηκε λίγο το πλοίο –στον ατμό χωρίς να ρίξει άγκυρα –γιατί θέλησε ο καπετάν Παπανικολής να δείξει στο βασιλιά ένα στενό αλλά χωμένο στη στεριά όρμο ,όπου δε μπορούσαν να μπουν μεγαλύτερα πλεούμενα και για αυτό τον προτιμούσαν οι πειρατές με τις βάρκες τους .Κατεβήκαμε στις βάρκες και πήγαμε με τα κουπιά μέχρι το μυχό του στενού αυτού όρμου .</span></em></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><strong><em><span style="font-family: Arial;">Χιλιοδρόμια </span></em></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><em><span style="font-family: Arial;">Το νησί είναι μεγάλο ,ένα βουνό δασωμένο με πεύκα .Έχει μόνο ένα χωριό σαράντα σπίτια ,στις πλάτες του βουνού κοντά στο νότιο ακρωτήριο .Ο<span> </span> </span></em><em><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US">Fiedler</span></em><em><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US"> </span></em><em><span style="font-family: Arial;">έχει βρει εδώ ίχνη αρχαίας πόλης και πολλούς αρχαίους τάφους .Το γεγονός είναι αποφασιστικό για το αρχαίο όνομα του νησιού .Δε μπορεί να είναι άλλο από το όνομα Ίκος …Είχε μάλιστα και τον ιστοριογράφο της<span> </span>(Ίκος νήσος Σποράδων ,προσεχής τη Ευβοία .Ο νησιώτης Ίκιος .Έγραψε δε Φανόδημος Ικιακά ) … Αναφέρουμε ότι όλα εδώ έδειχναν τον τάφο του Πηλέα ,πατέρα του Αχιλλέα .</span></em></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Στις 12 Δεκεμβρίου επωφεληθήκαμε από μια αλλαγή του ανέμου για να εγκαταλείψουμε το λιμάνι μας ,αλλά αυτό ήταν μόνο για να αλλάξουμε τη σκηνή της κακής μας τύχης .Μόλις είχαμε παρακάμψει το ακρωτήριο που σχηματίζει τη νότια πτέρυγα της Σκοπέλου ,όταν ο άνεμος έγινε αντίθετος αυξήθηκε σε δύναμη και τελικά μας οδήγησε να βρούμε καταφύγιο σε ένα μικρό όρμο της Σκοπέλου ,τον Πάνορμο .</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Εδώ μείναμε δύο μέρες .Αρχίσαμε να διαμαρτυρόμαστε για την καθυστέρηση και πιστεύαμε ,όχι αδικαιολόγητα ,ότι ο καπετάνιος ήταν υπερβολικά προσεκτικός και δειλός ,χαρακτήρας όχι ασυνήθης στους Έλληνες<span> </span>ναυτικούς του αρχιπελάγους .Πάντως δεν το περιμέναμε από αυτόν που είχε ταξιδέψει στο ακρωτήρι της Καλής Ελπίδας και είχε εργαστεί χρόνια στην υπηρεσία της ισπανικής κυβέρνησης στις ακτές της Χιλής και του Περού .Μια εξήγηση της επιφυλακτικότητας τους ήταν ότι ο ίδιος ήταν και ιδιοκτήτης του πλοίου …</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Ο καιρός εξακολουθούσε να είναι κρύος .Το θερμόμετρο ήταν στους 3 με </span><span style="font-family: Arial;">4 </span><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US">C</span><span style="font-family: Arial;"> και φυσούσε βορειοδυτικός άνεμος .Επειδή υποφέραμε πολύ στο πλοίο βγήκαμε στη ξηρά και οι ναύτες άναψαν μεγάλη φωτιά σε ένα σπήλαιο κάτω από τους βράχους που έπεφταν στη θάλασσα .Η είσοδος του δεν ήταν φανερή και έφερε ίχνη πρόσφατης κατοίκησης από πειρατές ή άλλους ναυτικούς .Οι μορφές των Ελλήνων ναυτικών και του δικού μας Ταρτάρου Σουλεϊμάν , που ήταν καθισμένοι γύρω από τη φωτιά ,μπορούσαν να αποτελέσουν θέμα για ένα πίνακα .</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Το νησί Σκόπελος ,όπως φανερώνει το όνομά του είναι ψηλό και απότομο .Έχει περίμετρο περισσότερο από </span><span style="font-family: Arial;">30 μίλια</span><span style="font-family: Arial;"> .Είναι μεγαλύτερο από το Χιλιοδρόμι αλλά μοιάζει με αυτό στην όψη και έχει την ίδια διαμόρφωση .Φαίνεται ότι τα δύο νησιά αποκόπηκαν το ένα από το άλλο είτε βαθμηδόν ή κατόπιν αιφνίδιας γεωλογικής μεταβολής .Στο κανάλι μεταξύ τους βρίσκεται ο βράχος Αγ.Ηλίας ,που ορθώνεται πολύ απότομα μέσα στη θάλασσα σε μεγάλο ύψος και έχει την ίδια ασβεστολιθική σύσταση όπως τα άλλα νησιά .</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Υπάρχουν δύο πόλεις στη Σκόπελο ,μεγαλύτερη από τις οποίες βρίσκεται στην ανατολική πλευρά και περιλαμβάνει περισσότερα από 1000 σπίτια και 12 ελληνικές εκκλησίες .Η άλλη που ονομάζεται Γλώσσα είναι χτισμένη σε ένα απότομο λόφο στη δυτική πλευρά .Ο πληθυσμός του νησιού είναι αποκλειστικά ελληνικός και υπάγεται στην εξουσία του Καπουδάν πασά ,του μεγάλου ναυάρχου της Τουρκίας .Αυτή η ναυτική διακυβέρνηση είναι πολύ πιο ήπια από αυτή των ηπειρωτικών επαρχιών .Αυτό οφείλεται κυρίως στο απρόσιτο των νησιών ,πράγμα το οποίο ,όπως παρατήρησα και αλλού ,καθορίζει τη συγκριτική ελευθερία μιας πόλης ή μιας περιοχής .</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Η διοίκηση των περισσοτέρων νησιών του αρχιπελάγους έχει παραχωρηθεί στους Έλληνες . Η μη κανονική είσπραξη του φόρου είναι ο μοναδικός τρόπος να φανεί η εξουσία της Πύλης στα μικρά νησιά .Το μεγαλύτερο μέρος της Σκοπέλου είναι ακαλλιέργητο ,αλλά υπάρχουν εκτάσεις καλλιεργημένες στην πόλη ,που παράγουν σιτάρι ,σταφύλια ,ελιές και διάφορα φρούτα .</span></p>

Η πρώτη επαφή μας με τους πειρατές έγινε με την εμφάνιση μερικών ανδρών στην ακτή το άλλο πρωί .Κατ’ αρχήν είδαμε δύο να κρατούν στα χέρια τους μερικά ψάρια και να μας καλούν να στείλουμε βάρκα στη ξηρά .Μετά εμφανίσθηκαν τρεις άλλοι που φαινόταν ότι είχαν κρυφτεί μέσα στους θάμνους της ακτής<span> </span>.Έμειναν λίγα λεπτά και μετά τους χάσαμε από τα μάτια μας .Την επόμενη μέρα η καταιγίδα συνεχιζόταν με μικρότερη ένταση .Στις δέκα το πρωί ριψοκινδυνέψαμε την αποβίβαση στη ξηρά με τη βάρκα του πληρώματος λαμβάνοντας όμως προφυλάξεις για κάθε ενδεχόμενο .Οι προφυλάξεις όμως δεν ήταν αναγκαίες<span> </span>γιατί συναντήσαμε μόνο δύο βοσκούς , που από το ντύσιμο τους και την εμφάνιση τους φαινόντουσαν σαν άγριοι .Έδειξαν όμως να ευχαριστήθηκαν που μας είδαν και μας πρόσφεραν γάλα σε ένα μεγάλο ξύλινο δοχείο σε αντάλλαγμα για το ψωμί που τους δώσαμε .Μιλούσαν μια<span> </span>παράξενη διάλεκτο της ρωμέικης γλώσσας .Μας είπαν ότι η ζωή τους περνούσε μονότονα ανάμεσα στα νησιά του συμπλέγματος με τη φροντίδα των προβάτων και των κατοικιών τους .Είχαν έλθει στο Σαρακηνό λίγες μέρες πριν, ζούσαν δε και σε άλλα νησιά κατά καιρούς μέσα σε σπηλιές ή σε καλύβες φτιαγμένες από πέτρα και ξύλα . Μας πληροφόρησαν ότι υπήρχαν εδώ πειρατές λίγες εβδομάδες πριν ,αλλά τώρα μάλλον βρισκόταν στη Σκόπελο .Για τους ανθρώπους που είχαμε δει στη ξηρά δύο μέρες πριν δεν ήξεραν τίποτα.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Το νησί Σαρακηνό ,που οι ναυτικοί μας καλούν </span><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US">Spalmador</span><span style="font-family: Arial;"> ,είναι ένας στενόμακρος βράχος με κατεύθυνση από ανατολάς προς δυσμάς .Το μήκος του είναι </span><span style="font-family: Arial;">8 μίλια</span><span style="font-family: Arial;"> και το πλάτος του περίπου 2 .Το λιμάνι που βρίσκεται στο βόρειο μέρος του νησιού είναι ένας βαθύς κλειστός όρμος που προφυλάσσεται από βράχια και προς βόρεια από το Χιλιοδρόμι .Κοντά στη ξηρά έχει βάθος 10, 15 και 20 οργιές .Μεταξύ των δύο νησιών<span> </span>το βάθος είναι 20 έως 50 οργιές .Ο βράχος είναι ασβεστολιθικός έχοντας όψη κρυσταλλικού μαρμάρου χωρίς ίχνη από οργανικά υπολείμματα .Το υψηλότερο σημείο του νησιού είναι περίπου </span><span style="font-family: Arial;">600 πόδια</span><span style="font-family: Arial;"> .Αν και το περίγραμμα του είναι αρκετά βαθύ , η επιφάνεια του είναι πολύ ανώμαλη και καλύπτεται με βράχια , μεταξύ των οποίων φύονται σε μεγάλη αφθονία κουμαριές και άλλα είδη θάμνων . Ο καρπός της κουμαριάς ήταν αυτή την εποχή σε πλήρη ωρίμανση .Μεταφέραμε στο πλοίο μεγάλη ποσότητα από αυτό το φρούτο , το οποίο τρωγόμενο με κατσικίσιο γάλα και ζάχαρη αποτελεί ένα εξαιρετικό επιδόρπιο .Ήταν μεγάλη ευχαρίστηση για εμάς ,επειδή οι μικρές προμήθειες φρέσκων τροφίμων που είχαμε κάνει στη Θεσσαλονίκη είχαν εξαντληθεί . </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Άλλη μια μέρα αναμονής μου επέτρεψε να ακολουθήσω το πλήρωμα σε μια εκδρομή με τη βάρκα στο δυτικό άκρο του νησιού Χιλιοδρόμι όπου ,καθώς μάθαμε από τους βοσκούς ,υπήρχε ένα μικρό χωριό .Δύο ή τρεις Έλληνες ναυτικοί ήταν μαζί μου στη βάρκα , ο ένας από τους οποίους καταγόταν από το Μυστρά .Αφού διανύσαμε 6 ή </span><span style="font-family: Arial;">8 μίλια</span><span style="font-family: Arial;"> μεταξύ των 2 νησιών αποβιβαστήκαμε στο νότιο μέρος του νησιού και ακολουθήσαμε ένα μονοπάτι </span><span style="font-family: Arial;">2 μιλίων</span><span style="font-family: Arial;"> που έβγαζε στο χωριό .Αυτό το νησί έχει </span><span style="font-family: Arial;">20 μίλια</span><span style="font-family: Arial;"> μήκος αλλά είναι πολύ στενό .Είναι πιο ψηλό από το Σαρακηνό .Το έδαφος του έχει μεγάλη ποικιλία και καλύπτεται από ωραία δάση και θάμνους .</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Ένα μεγάλο μέρος από το πέτρωμά του είναι άσπρο ή κίτρινο μάρμαρο .Σε πολλά μέρη της παραλίας είδα πολλά ασβεστολιθικά στρώματα πάνω από το βράχο , μέσα στα οποία υπήρχαν απολιθωμένα όστρακα .Στην ακρογιαλιά βρήκα πολλά σφουγγάρια καθώς και τι φυτό </span><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US">scilia</span><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US"> </span><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US">maritima</span><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US"> </span><span style="font-family: Arial;">σε μεγάλη αφθονία όπως και στο Σαρακηνό .</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Το χωριό βρίσκεται σε ένα λόφο στη δυτική πλευρά του νησιού .Αποτελείται από 150 σπίτια , πολλά από τα οποία είναι ακατοίκητα .Οι κάτοικοι εγκαταλείπουν το νησί μετά από όσα δεινά έχουν υποφέρει από τους πειρατές .Τρέφονται κυρίως με ψάρια και με το γάλα και με το κρέας των κατσικιών .Σε δύο ή τρεις τοποθεσίες παρατήρησα καλλιεργημένα χωράφια ,στα οποία οι άνθρωποι αυτή την εποχή ασχολούνται με το όργωμα .Για το σκοπό αυτό χρησιμοποιούνται βόδια όπως και στην ηπειρωτική Ελλάδα .Επισκέφθηκα μόνος μερικούς από τους ανθρώπους αυτούς που έδειξαν έκπληξη βλέποντας ένα ξένο με φράγκικη ενδυμασία στο απομονωμένο νησί τους .Μου μίλησαν με ευγενικό τρόπο και με ρώτησαν με ευκολία αν είχα ταμπάκο .Αυτή τους την επιθυμία δε μπορούσα να την ικανοποιήσω .Από τότε που επέστρεψα στην Αγγλία άκουσα ότι συνέβη κάτι θλιβερό στις ακτές του νησιού Χιλιοδρόμι, από κάποια παρεξήγηση μεταξύ του καπετάνιου ενός αγγλικού πλοίου και των ντόπιων .Λένε ότι αρκετοί από το πλήρωμα του πλοίου φονεύθηκαν σε μια συμπλοκή .</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Προτού εγκαταλείψουμε το νησί ανέβηκα σε ένα ύψωμα από όπου φαινόταν η βόρεια ακτή .Από το σημείο αυτό είχα μια εξαιρετική θέα της ανατολικής πλευράς της Εύβοιας και της αλυσίδας των βουνών που φαινόταν να σχηματίζουν το κεντρικό μέρος του νησιού .Στα υψηλότερα σημεία των βουνών είχε πιάσει χιόνι .Αρκετά νησιά του Αρχιπελάγους φαίνονταν από εδώ .Το Σαρακηνό με τους Αδελφούς και πολλά άλλα νησάκια που το περιβάλλουν αυτό βρίσκονταν μπροστά μου .Η Σκόπελος κείται σε μικρή απόσταση στα δυτικά .Το μικρό νησί Σκάντζερο φαινόταν στα νότια .Πίσω από αυτό οι κορυφές της Σκύρου ήταν εμφανείς …Πίσω από το Σαρακηνό η θάλασσα είναι ανοιχτή προς την κατεύθυνση της Λέσβου, αλλά η απόσταση είναι τόσο μεγάλη ώστε είναι αδύνατο να αντικρύσουμε τις ακτές της .</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Υπάρχει κάποια δυσκολία σχετικά με την αρχαία γεωγραφία αυτών των νησιών και δεν έχει καθοριστεί με ακρίβεια ποια νησιά έφεραν τα ονόματα Πεπάρηθος ,Ίκος και Αλόννησος που αναφέρουν πολλοί αρχαίοι συγγραφείς .Εάν υποθέσουμε ότι η Σκόπελος ήταν η αρχαία Πεπάρηθος θα έπρεπε τα ονόματα Ίκος και Αλόννησος να αποδοθούν στο Χιλιοδρόμι και το Σαρακηνό .Αλλά αυτή η υπόθεση είναι πολύ αμφίβολη .</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Κατά την επιστροφή μου στο πλοίο τη νύχτα βρήκα ένα βοσκό να με περιμένει μαζί με το γιο του , ένα νεαρό αγόρι που υπέφερε από χρόνια πάθηση των ματιών ,για την οποία ο πατέρας του ήθελε να ζητήσει τη συμβουλή μου .Μπήκε μέσα στην καμπίνα μου και περιεργαζόταν με περιέργεια ότι έβλεπε γελώντας αδέξια ,πράγμα που χαρακτηρίζει τη χωριάτικη άγνοια .Ποτέ ο πατέρας και ο γιός δεν είχαν δει ρολόι και αυτό τους προκάλεσε μεγάλη περιέργεια και θαυμασμό .</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">«…Κατά το μεσημέρι ξέσπασε αιφνίδιος βόρειος άνεμος που σε είκοσι λεπτά έπνεε<span> </span>μεγάλη σφοδρότητα .Ήταν μια από τις ξαφνικές θύελλες που είναι συνηθισμένες στη Μεσόγειο κατά τους χειμερινούς μήνες ,ιδιαίτερα στα μέρη όπου η θάλασσα σχηματίζει βαθιές κολπώσεις ,όπως στο βορρά και στον κόλπο της Θεσσαλονίκης .Ο καπετάνιος μας μετά από αυτό αναγκάστηκε να καταφύγει σε ένα λιμάνι μεταξύ των δύο νησιών<span> </span>Σαρακηνό και Χιλιοδρόμι ,που απέχουν από το Άγιο Όρος </span><span style="font-family: Arial;">70 μίλια</span><span style="font-family: Arial;"> προς τα ΝΔ.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US">A</span><span style="font-family: Arial;">υτά τα νησιά είναι μέρος ενός συμπλέγματος που το αποτελούν κυρίως η Σκόπελος και η Σκιάθος .Είναι γνωστά κυρίως από τους πειρατές που τα χρησιμοποιούσαν ως ορμητήρια και από τους Έλληνες εμπόρους που τα έχουν ως καταφύγια .Η θάλασσα γινόταν επικίνδυνη και ο<span> </span>άνεμος φυσούσε με τρομερή ταχύτητα όταν μπήκαμε στο στενό ,αφού αφήσαμε στα αριστερά μας ένα βραχώδες βουνό ,που λέγεται Γιούρα .Ρίξαμε δύο άγκυρες και μείναμε μία ώρα κάτω από τα βράχια που σχηματίζουν το νότιο μέρος του νησιού Χιλιοδρόμι .Μόλις έπεσε η νύχτα, η καταιγίδα<span> </span>δυνάμωσε και το πλοίο έκοψε τις δύο άγκυρες και παρασύρθηκε τρία μίλια προς την ακτή του Σαρακηνού .Στις οχτώ το βράδυ η θέση μας ήταν τραγική. Νύχτα σκοτεινή ,θυελλώδης άνεμος ,χιόνι και θάλασσα φουρτουνιασμένη .Το πλοίο παρασυρόταν προς μια βραχώδη παραλία .Μέσα στο σκοτάδι μας φαινόταν ότι τα βράχια κρεμόντουσαν πάνω από τα κεφάλια μας .Ο καπετάνιος μας ειδοποίησε για τον κίνδυνο που διατρέχαμε .Τον είδαμε να προσεύχεται στη καμπίνα του μπροστά σε μία εικόνα δίπλα στην οποία έκαιγε ένα καντήλι .Από στιγμή σε στιγμή περιμέναμε να ακούσουμε τον κρότο που θα έκανε το πλοίο χτυπώντας πάνω στα βράχια .Το πλήρωμα όμως δε παρέμεινε άπρακτο .Τα πανιά ήταν κατεβασμένα για να ελαττώσουν τη δύναμη του ανέμου πάνω στο πλοίο μας .Τότε έριξαν την πρώτη άγκυρα .Το σπουδαιότερο όμως για τη σωτηρία μας ήταν ότι κατάφεραν να οδηγήσουν το πλοίο πίσω από το ακρωτήριο<span> </span>που <span style="text-decoration: underline;">ορίζει</span> την είσοδο ενός μικρού κόλπου στο νησί </span><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US">Spalmandor</span><span style="font-family: Arial;">. Εδώ είμαστε κατά κάποιο τρόπο προφυλαγμένοι από τη σφοδρότητα της καταιγίδας και οι άγκυρες<span> </span>μας κρατούσαν σταθερά .Η θέση μας όμως δεν ήταν σίγουρη και όλη τη νύχτα βρισκόμασταν σε συναγερμό.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Το άλλο πρωί η εμφάνιση της ημέρας δεν ελάττωσε την αίσθηση του κινδύνου που είχαμε τη νύχτα .Βρισκόμασταν σε πολύ μικρή απόσταση από τα βράχια ,τα οποία ήταν τέτοια ου αν πέφταμε πάνω τους η διάσωση μας θα ήταν αδύνατη .Ο άνεμος συνεχίστηκε με μεγάλη σφοδρότητα συνοδευόμενος από κρύο και χιόνι .Το θερμόμετρο το μεσημέρι δεν ανέβηκε πάνω από </span><span style="font-family: Arial;">2°</span><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US">C</span><span style="font-family: Arial;"> και η θερμοκρασία αυτή ήταν ανυπόφορη επειδή είχαμε θέρμανση στο κατάστρωμα .</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Πάντως σε σχέση με τον καιρό η θέση μας εδώ δεν ήταν καθόλου άσχημη .Είχαμε την εντύπωση ότι βρισκόμασταν μέσα σε μια μεγάλη λίμνη χωρίς καμία διέξοδο .Η ξηρά ,που ορθωνόταν<span> </span>κρημνώδης σε κάθε πλευρά ,δεν είχε δένδρα αλλά πολλούς θάμνους .Δε μας άφησαν να επισκεφθούμε τη ξηρά ,αφενός μεν για τα μεγάλα κύματα που έσκαγαν ,αφετέρου για το φόβο των πειρατών , οι οποίοι συχνάζουν εδώ όπως και στα άλλα γύρω νησιά .Το αρχιπέλαγος με τα πολυάριθμα νησιά και κανάλια του έχει γίνει το θέατρο των θαλάσσιων επιδρομών των πειρατών που έχουν αποθρασυνθεί από την αδυναμία της τουρκικής διοίκησης<span> </span>και την ανικανότητα του ναυτικού της . Το συγκρότημα αυτό των νησιών έχει γίνει το καταφύγιο των πειρατών ,αφενός μεν λόγω του πλήθους των πλοίων που περνούν από εδώ ,αφετέρου εξαιτίας της ευκολίας με την οποία<span> </span>μπορούν να στρατολογούν Αλβανούς που έχουν κατέβει στη θάλασσα .Οι σταθμοί τους όμως μετακινούνται ανάλογα με τους σκοπούς και την ασφάλεια τους . Αυτή η αβεβαιότητα αυξάνει το τρόμο που ενσπείρουν σε αυτές τις θάλασσες . Λίγους μήνες πριν που επισκεφθήκαμε τη Θεσσαλονίκη αυτοί είχαν αυξηθεί<span> </span>πολύ και είχαν δραστηριοποιηθεί στις ακτές της Κατερίνης .Ακούσαμε εκεί πολλά ανέκδοτα σχετικά με τη θρασύτητα και την αρπακτικότητα τους .Τώρα μερικοί από αυτούς έχουν συλληφθεί ,ενώ οι υπόλοιποι έχουν εκτοπισθεί από εκεί .Αλλά η είσοδος του κόλπου ακόμα θεωρείται επικίνδυνη για μικρά πλοία . Έτσι μας απέτρεψαν από το σχέδιο μας να παλεύουμε προς το Βόλο με καΐκι…</span></p>

Ένας από τους Ιησουίτες αυτούς<span> </span>ήταν ο </span><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US">Francois</span><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US"> </span><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US">Braconnier</span><span style="font-family: Arial;"> που επισκέφθηκε τη Σκόπελο πιθανότατα το 1706 .Στις «αναμνήσεις»<span> </span>του </span><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US">Braconnier</span><span style="font-family: Arial;"> υπάρχουν εντυπώσεις του για τη Σκόπελο που τότε βρισκόταν σε μεγάλη άνθηση.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">«…Την τρίτη μέρα αποβιβάστηκα στη Σκόπελο που είναι το κυριότερο από αυτά τα νησιά, το οποίο οι παλιοί και οι σύγχρονοι λαογράφοι δεν έχουν γνωρίσει καλά . Είναι στην πραγματικότητα ένα μικρό νησί με περίμετρο μεγαλύτερη από </span><span style="font-family: Arial;">30 μίλια</span><span style="font-family: Arial;"> , πολύ καλά καλλιεργημένο .Έχει περίπου 8-10.000 κατοίκους ,οι περισσότεροι από τους οποίους κατοικούν σε μια πόλη αρκετά ωραία που δεν έχει <span> </span>ιδιαίτερο όνομα.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Λέγεται ότι πριν από 200 χρόνια το νησί ήταν έρημο και ο αρχιμάγειρος ή ο αρχιαρτοποιός της Υψηλής Πύλης που το κατείχε μετέφερε<span> </span>Έλληνες από τις γύρω περιοχές για να το κατοικήσουν .Οι Σκοπελίτες έχουν προνόμια που δεν υπάρχουν σε κανένα άλλο μέρος υπό τουρκική κυριαρχία .Κανένας από τους άπιστους αυτούς δεν κατοικεί μεταξύ τους .<span> </span>Έχουν ελευθερία να χτυπούν τις καμπάνες των εκκλησιών τους και να φυτεύουν σταυρούς στους δρόμους και στους λόφους .Όταν για να διεκπεραιώνουν τις δικαστικές τους υποθέσεις είναι υποχρεωμένοι να καλούν Τούρκους δικαστές<span> </span>,δεν αναλαμβάνουν τη διατροφή τους παρά μόνο για τρεις ημέρες. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Έχουν έναν Έλληνα επίσκοπο , ο οποίος<span> </span>διοικεί επίσης την εκκλησία της Σκιάθου .Η Σκόπελος<span> </span>έχει<span> </span>λίγο σιτάρι αλλά σε αντιστάθμισμα παράγει πολύ κρασί .Είναι σχεδόν πάντα ένα παχύ κόκκινο κρασί ,σκούρο και πολύ χρωματισμένο ,αλλά δεν ικανοποιεί τη γεύση , επειδή για να το διατηρούν επαλείφουν με ραφιναρισμένη πίσσα μια από τις δούγες των μεγάλων βαρελιών και έτσι το κρασί παίρνει μια γεύση πίσσας που δεν είναι καθόλου ευχάριστη .Από τότε που οι Ενετοί ήταν κύριοι του Μοριά αγόραζαν πολύ από το κρασί αυτό και οι<span> </span>Γάλλοι έχουν κερδίσει πολλά από το εμπόριο .Το μεταφέρουν επίσης στην Κέρκυρα και στη Θεσσαλονίκη .Κάνουν επίσης στη Σκόπελο λίγο άσπρο κρασί που είναι πολύ καλό και τόσο ωραίο όσο η ρακή που βγάζουν από το κόκκινο κρασί ή από τα στέμφυλα. Βλέπει κανείς σε αυτό το νησί<span> </span>πολλά νερά . Είναι γεμάτο από κέδρους, <span> </span>λεμονιές, <span> </span>πορτοκαλιές και άλλα δένδρα των οποίων οι καρποί είναι εξαιρετικοί.</span></p>

Η<span> </span>περιήγηση του έχει ιδιαίτερη σημασία για τον ελληνικό χώρο, επειδή έγινε<span> </span>σε μια περίοδο πολύ κρίσιμη για το ελληνικό έθνος ,όταν η Κωνσταντινούπολη, η πρωτεύουσα του Βυζαντίου, βρισκόταν στο χείλος του γκρεμού και οι υπόλοιπες ελληνικές περιοχές έβλεπαν με ανησυχία να πλησιάζει η καταστροφή.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Τα νησιά των Β. Σποράδων την εποχή αυτή βρίσκονται στην εξουσία των Παλαιολόγων (Βυζαντινοί Αυτοκράτορες) που τα ανακατέλαβαν από τους Ενετούς το 1276. Η βυζαντινή διοίκηση όμως είναι πολύ χαλαρή και οι κάτοικοι υποφέρουν από τις πειρατικές<span> </span>επιδρομές των Καταλανών, των Ενετών τυχοδιωκτών και των Τούρκων. Αναγκάζονται να επιδιορθώνουν και να ενισχύουν τα κάστρα τους μέσα στα οποία βρίσκουν κάποια ασφάλεια. Οι κάτοικοι του ΒΔ τμήματος της Σκοπέλου εγκαταλείπουν τον παραθαλάσσιο οικισμό τους (Λουτράκι) και κατοικούν στο εσωτερικό ,σε μια περιοχή που δε φαίνεται εύκολα από τη θάλασσα.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Πολλοί από τους κατοίκους των νησιών αναγκάζονται να γίνουν πειρατές και λεηλατούν την<span> </span>Εύβοια ,τη Θεσσαλία και τα νησιά του Αιγαίου. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Μέσα σ’ αυτή τη χαώδη κατάσταση επισκέπτεται ο Β</span><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US">uondelmonti</span><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US"> </span><span style="font-family: Arial;"><span> </span>τα νησιά. Οι λίγες πληροφορίες του αναφέρονται στα τρία μεγαλύτερα από αυτά, τη Σκόπελο, Σκιάθο και Αλόννησο την οποία ονομάζει Δρόμο. Κατά τον </span><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US">Buondelmonti</span><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US"> </span><span style="font-family: Arial;">το νησί πήρε το όνομα αυτό επειδή βρίσκεται σε σημείο από το οποίο τα πλοία που πλέουν από την ανατολή<span> </span>και προς τη δύση ρυθμίζουν την πορεία τους. Ο δίαυλος μεταξύ Αλοννήσου και Σκοπέλου ήταν και είναι ο κυριότερος δρόμος πορείας των πλοίων που πλέουν από νότο προς βορρά. Οι κάτοικοι της Αλοννήσου με κατάλληλα σημεία διευκόλυναν τα πλοία που περνούσαν από το στενό. Ωστόσο, το όνομα Δρόμος το νησί το χρωστάει σε παλαιότατη παράδοση που ανάγεται στους προϊστορικούς χρόνους.<span> </span>Συνέπεσε όμως το όνομα αυτό να παρερμηνευθεί από τους ναυτικούς του μεσαίωνα. Από τον Φλωρεντίνο περιηγητή μαθαίνουμε ακόμα ότι η Αλόννησος ήταν ευφορότατη . Στον χάρτη φαίνεται ένα κάστρο ,όπως και στο διπλανό νησί Κυρά-Παναγιά που ονομάζεται </span><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US">Limen</span><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US"> </span><span style="font-family: Arial;">προφανώς λόγω του φημισμένου λιμανιού της.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Ο </span><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US">Buondelmonti</span><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US"> </span><span style="font-family: Arial;">αναφέρει επίσης το νησί του Άη Γιώργη ,που παρεμβάλλεται μεταξύ Σκοπέλου και Αλοννήσου ,με το όνομα Άγιος Ηλίας. Μετά από αυτόν όλοι ο περιηγητές δεν παύουν να κάνουν μνεία του νησιού αυτού που εντυπωσιάζει από μακριά με το υπερβολικό του ύψος. Φαίνεται ότι σε παλαιότερους χρόνους υπήρχε βυζαντινός ναός στην κορυφή του, είχε δε δημιουργηθεί ένας μύθος πολύ διαδεδομένος μεταξύ των Ιταλών ναυτικών , τον οποίο αναφέρουν και<span> </span>όλοι οι κατοπινοί περιηγητές . Τον 17<sup>ο </sup>αιώνα χτίστηκε εκεί το μονύδριο του αγίου Γεωργίου και το νησί άλλαξε ονομασία, παρόλα αυτά όμως ξένοι περιηγητές συνεχίζουν να το αναφέρουν με την παλιά του ονομασία μέχρι τον 19<sup>ο</sup> αιώνα. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Πολύ λίγα αναφέρει ο Β</span><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US">uondelmonti</span><span style="font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US"> </span><span style="font-family: Arial;">για τη Σκιάθο και τη Σκόπελο. Κάνει λόγο επίσης για έναν ηγεμόνα των νησιών που κάποτε έκανε ληστρική επιδρομή στην Εύβοια ,αλλά απέτυχε με αποτέλεσμα να φονευθούν όλοι οι σύντροφοί του .</span></p>

Έτσι ο νόμος όχι μόνο απαγόρευε την κοπή του ελαιόδεντρου, αλλά και παρότρυνε τους πολίτες για το φύτεμα νέων. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Ο Όμηρος αποκαλούσε το ελαιόλαδο &#8220;χρυσό υγρό&#8221; και ο Ιπποκράτης &#8220;μεγάλο θεραπευτή&#8221;.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Χρησιμοποιούνταν στην αρχαιότητα και για τις ιδιότητές του στη θεραπεία δερματικών παθήσεων, ως επουλωτικό και αντισηπτικό σε τραύματα, εγκαύματα και γυναικολογικές ασθένειες. <span> </span>Στον Ιπποκράτειο Κώδικα αναφέρονται περισσότερες από 60 φαρμακευτικές χρήσεις του.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Ως τροφή βοηθούσε την αντιμετώπιση καρδιακών παθήσεων. Εκτός από το λάδι, για τις θεραπευτικές τους ιδιότητες χρησιμοποιούσαν και τα φύλλα και άνθη της ελιάς, από τα οποία παρασκεύαζαν αφέψημα που το χρησιμοποιούσαν ως κολλύριο, για την αντιμετώπιση της φλόγωσης των ούλων και του έλκους του στομάχου. </span></p>

Ποικίλες ήταν οι χρήσεις του λαδιού για θρησκευτικούς σκοπούς. Με λάδι έκαναν σπονδές στους βωμούς, άλειφαν επιτύμβιες στήλες ή έσπενδαν πάνω σε ιερές πέτρες. Η αρχαία χρήση του λαδιού και του κρασιού στην ταφική<br />
τελετουργία έχει διατηρηθεί και στη χριστιανική θρησκεία.<br />

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial;">Οι βρώσιμες ελιές αποτελούσαν βασικό στοιχείο της διατροφής, κυρίως όσων γευμάτιζαν εκτός σπιτιού εργαζόμενοι στην ύπαιθρο, σε ταξίδια, ή σε εκστρατείες. Οι ελιές προσφέρονται για τέτοια χρήση αφού μεταφέρονται εύκολα, δεν αλλοιώνονται και έχουν μεγάλη θρεπτική αξία. Σε διάφορες ανασκαφές έχουν βρεθεί κουκούτσια από ελιές που αποτελούν τροφικά κατάλοιπα. Οι αρχαίοι συγγραφείς σώζουν πληροφορίες για τη μεγάλη ποικιλία βρώσιμων ελιών.</span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial;">Εκτός από το λάδι και τις ελιές, το ξύλο της ελιάς χρησιμοποιούνταν ως καύσιμη ύλη, για ξυλοδεσιές στην αρχιτεκτονική, για μπόλια στη σύνδεση κιόνων, για στειλεούς αγροτικών και άλλων εργαλείων, αλλά και για την κατασκευή ξοάνων θεών και άλλων ξύλινων αγαλμάτων.</span></p>
<p>Το φθινόπωρο, είναι η εποχή συγκομιδής του καρπού, κατά την οποία ο πληθυσμός της ελληνικής υπαίθρου εργάζεται σκληρά στους ελαιώνες, όπως και οι πρόγονοί του από την αρχαιότητα ως σήμερα, θερμαίνοντας τις ψυχρές ημέρες με τις φωνές τους, τους ήχους των ραβδιών και των πριονιών και την ασταμάτητη μουσική του πολύτιμου καρπού που πέφτει στα πανιά.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial;"> Στην ελληνική μυθολογία η ελιά απαντάται ως δέντρο εξαιρετικά χρήσιμο τόσο για τον καρπό του όσο και για το ξύλο του. Είναι γνωστός δε ο μύθος ότι η θεά Αθηνά δώρισε στους πολίτες των Αθηνών ένα δέντρο ελιάς - ως πηγή πλούτου -  για να κερδίσει τον Ποσειδώνα και να εκλεγεί προστάτιδα της πόλης που γι&#8217; αυτό το λόγο πήρε το όνομά της.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial;">Το δένδρο της ελιάς, που δένει αρμονικά με το ελληνικό τοπίο και την ιδιοσυγκρασία των κατοίκων του, σμιλεμένο από τον μεσογειακό ήλιο και τους αιγαιοπελαγίτικους ανέμους υπήρξε πάντοτε μια ατέλειωτη πηγή έμπνευσης για το ελληνικό πνεύμα και ψυχή. Ένα σύμβολο κοινωνικών και θρησκευτικών αξιών, προόδου, ειρήνης, ευημερίας, φρόνησης και φήμης.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial;"><span> </span>Ο Πλίνιος συγγραφέας και γιατρός αναφέρει ότι το πρώτο ελαιοτριβείο επινοήθηκε από τον Αρίσταιο υιό του Απόλλωνα. Ο ίδιος ο Πλίνιος συνιστούσε την τοποθέτηση αρωματικών βοτάνων για να αυξήσει το άρωμα του ελαιολάδου. Αλλά και ο Όμηρος παλαιότερα αναφέρεται στο ελαιόλαδο το οποίο χρησιμοποιούσαν για την περιποίηση του σώματος. Είναι χαρακτηριστικό ότι με αυτό άλειφαν το σώμα των δρομέων για να περιορίσουν την αφυδάτωση και τους τραυματισμούς. Στοιχεία που αποδεικνύουν ότι η ελιά καλλιεργούνταν στην αρχαία Ελλάδα τόσο για τη βρώση της όσο και για το λάδι της που χρησιμοποιούταν και ως καλλυντικό, υπάρχουν στην Κνωσό, στη Θήρα, στη Σκόπελο, στις Μυκήνες και σε όλες σχεδόν τις ελληνικές πόλεις στις οποίες άκμασε σπουδαίος πολιτισμός κατά της αρχαιότητα.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial;">Στον ελληνικό χώρο έχουν βρεθεί αφενός πιεστήρια για παραγωγή λαδιού από τις ελιές και αφετέρου δοχεία (πιθάρια) αποθήκευσης λαδιού που χρονολογούνται πριν από τα ιστορικά χρόνια.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial;">Στην Αρχαία Ελλάδα, από το πρώτο πρεσάρισμα του καρπού έπαιρναν το λάδι για το φαγητό τους. Από το δεύτερο πρεσάρισμα έφτιαχναν αλοιφές. Το δε τρίτο πρεσάρισμα το χρησιμοποιούσαν για τις λάμπες τους.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Οι καλλιάγριες είναι τα παλαιά ελαιοτριβεία, τα οποία στη Σκόπελο των αρχών του αιώνα μας ήταν περίπου είκοσι.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Σήμερα μόνο στο Κλήμα, από τά χωριά της Σκοπέλου, <span> </span>σώζεται ένα από τα προβιομηχανικά αυτά εργαστήρια, το οποίο σταμάτησε τη λειτουργία του τον Μάρτιο του 1967. </span><span style="font-family: Arial;">Βρίσκεται κοντά στη Γλώσσα, δηλαδή στη νοτιοδυτική πλευρά του νησιού, που κοιτάζει κατά τη Σκιάθο και τη Βόρεια Εύβοια. Αξίζει να το επισκεφθείτε ,να δείτε το παλιό λιοτρίβι (το οποίο βρίσκεται ανάμεσα στα δυο χωριά)<span> </span>και δοκιμάσετε προϊόντα φτιαγμένα με τοπικό λάδι.</span></p>

Όταν ήμουν μαθητής του δημοτικού σχολείου στη Σκόπελο, είχα ιδιαίτερη αδυναμία στη μηλιά. Δεν εννοώ την Μηλιά την θυγατέρα του γείτονα μου(!), αλλά την γλυκομηλιά, το δένδρο, το οποίον στόλιζε τον κήπο μας.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Ως παιδί μου φαινόταν πολύ περίεργο δένδρο αυτή η μηλιά: έβγαζε άνθη και καρπούς κατά το καλοκαίρι και πάλι άνθη και καρπούς το φθινόπωρο .Επειδή αυτή ήταν λοιπόν η πρώτη μηλιά που γνώρισα σα παιδάκι στη ζωή μου ,έμαθα να ονομάζω και όλα τα δένδρα με τα ίδια χαρακτηριστικά ,που καρποφορούσαν 2 φορές το χρόνο μηλιές. Παρότι είχε αναπτυχθεί από παλιά μια φιλία και συμπάθεια δε μπορώ να πω ότι γνώριζε καλά ο ένας τον άλλο: με θυμάμαι κατά τη διάρκεια της πρώτης άνθησης του δένδρου να στηρίζομαι στον κορμό της ,με ορθάνοιχτα τα μάτια ,χαζεύοντας τον ερυθρόλευκο στολισμό της και απορώντας τι πράγμα να είναι άραγε αυτό το δένδρο… </span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Αργότερα συνειδητοποίησα ότι με το όνομα μηλιά υπάρχουν πολλές τοποθεσίες τόσο στο νησί μου όσο και σε άλλες ελληνικές περιοχές.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Έμαθα λοιπόν <span> </span>ότι στην Ελλάδα υπάρχουν πολλά φυτώνυμα χωριά, όπως Αμυγδαλιά, Συκιά, Καρυδιά, Φλαμουριά, Κυπαρίσσι, Καστάνια και πολλά άλλα. Μόνο με το όνομα <span> </span>όμως Μηλέα υπάρχουν 14 χωριά και συνοικισμοί. Εδώ θα πρέπει να σας πω ότι το δέντρο Μηλιά καλλιεργείται στη χώρα μας από το 600 π.Χ. Η δε Σκόπελος εκτός από τα περίφημη δαμασκηνά της φημίζεται ιδιαίτερα και για τα μηλιές της. </span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Κατά μία εκδοχή το όνομα προήλθε από την Ομηρική λέξη «Μήλα» που σημαίνει</span><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;"> </span><span style="font-family: Arial;">γιδοπρόβατα.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Στην ελληνική μυθολογία τα μήλα συναντώνται πολύ συχνά όπως στο μύθο του Ηρακλή με τα μήλα των Εσπερίδων είτε στην Ιλιάδα με το μήλο ,το οποίο πρόσφερε ο Πάρης στην Αφροδίτη.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Σε πολλά αγγεία ,όπως αυτό της φωτογραφίας ,η Mεγάλη Θεά εικονίζεται να κρατάει στα χέρια ή να έχει τυλιγμένο γύρω από τον κορμό της ένα φίδι, που συνδέεται και με το ιερό δένδρο της, <strong>το δένδρο της ζωής</strong>: το μυθικό δέντρο που φυτρώνει στο μέσο του κήπου των Εσπερίδων <strong>, μια μηλιά</strong> που οι καρποί της χαρίζουν αιώνια νιότη και που τη φυλάει ένα δρακοντόφιδο κουλουριασμένο γύρω της. Mε το ιερό δένδρο είναι επίσης συνδεδεμένα τα πουλιά, που φωλιάζουν στα κλαδιά του και που, αργότερα, τα αναγνωρίζουμε ως ιερά πτηνά καθενός από τους Ολύμπιους θεούς.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Στην αρχαιότητα ,το ρίψιμο του μήλου ερμηνεύεται σαν ένα ερωτικό μήνυμα ,που στέλνει ο ερωτευμένος στην αγαπημένη του ,ή σαν μια υπόσχεση γάμου. Εκτός από το φανέρωμα του πόθου ή την ερωτική πρόκληση ,<strong>το μήλο αιχμαλωτίζει με τα δεσμά</strong> του όποιον το δέχεται .Το μήλο υπήρξε πάντα σύμβολο ερωτικό .Πολλές είναι οι μαρτυρίες για την ερωτική σημασία του μήλου και την εκδήλωση του έρωτα <em>δια μηλοβολίας </em>από τον Αριστοφάνη ως τον Λουκιανό, από την αττική αγγειογραφία ως τα ερυθρόμορφα αγγεία της Κάτω Ιταλίας του 5<sup>ου</sup> αιώνα π.Χ.</span></p>
